Makeup Lesson

(1-on-1)

This is a private three to four hour makeup lesson where I will show you how to do a full face from start to finish. It is perfect for makeup novices, or for an individual who wants to improve their makeup skills, needs feedback on how to use products they already own, and recommendations on what to buy. During your lesson, I will show you how to do a full face from start to finish.

The lesson covers the following:

• Long-term skin care and treatment suggestions to address any skin concerns you may have (Great skin care is the secret to good makeup!)

• Prepping skin for makeup

• Perfecting skin with foundation and concealer

• Perfecting brows

• Proper use of makeup brushes and tools

• Proper application of powder, bronzers/contour, and blush

• Bringing out your eyes using eyeshadow, eyeliner, and mascara

• Proper application of lip liner and lipstick

• Product and technique recommendations based on your specific skin type and facial features

*Your first lesson also includes a gifted set of basic makeup brushes. Learning more advanced techniques, such as applying false lashes or learning how to create more dramatic eye looks such as a cut crease will be taught during a 2nd lesson.

During your second lesson, 2 sets of standard false eyelashes, and 2 sets of luxe eyelashes, and eyelash glue will be gifted instead of makeup brushes.

I will demonstrate the techniques on one side of your face and will have you then repeat the techniques on the other side of your face while giving you feedback. We can focus on a particular technique such as a smoky-eye or winged liner. You are encouraged to provide a picture of a particular makeup look that you want to achieve, but we will only do one complete look. An audit of your makeup bag will be done to give you feedback on the products you already own. But to keep everything sanitary, we will use clean disinfected brushes and products from my professional makeup kit. You are encouraged to ask questions and take notes on the new techniques you will be learning. A complete list of the products and links on where to purchase will be send in a follow-up email within 72 hours after your lesson.

BONUS: When you’re practicing applying makeup after our 1-on-1 and have a question, or are in need of help or a critique, we can schedule a video chat (up to 10 minutes) to go over your look. Additional Fees

*Travel is included for appointments from 9:00AM to 5:00PM within Central Tokyo. Clients are responsible for additional taxi fees for appointments before 9:00AM and after 5:00PM, and during times when train lines are not running. 

¥5000 fee applies to each hour before 9:00AM and after 5:00PM, including partial hours.
